Fairisles comes to the cage accompanied by Thriller - Michael Jackson. Miles Fairisles had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Nolan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nolan feints and as Fairisles raises his hands in defense, Nolan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nolan trying to control the position from guard on top but Fairisles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fairisles on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fairisles tries to get out of the position.

Nolan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fairisles napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nolan is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Fairisles seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nolan for as long as he can get away with.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nolan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fairisles looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fairisles enables Nolan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fairisles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fairisles lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fairisles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
