The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into Globe's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Globe (0) vs (2) Scott Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Globe swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Globe lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Globe (2) vs (2) Scott Scott keeping full guard, as Globe tries to pass. Globe pushes down on Scott's leg and manages to get into half guard. Scott looking for subs from the bottom but Globe mounts him! Score +3 for passing guard: Globe (5) vs (2) Scott We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Globe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Globe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scott is looking to escape. Globe works his way to his opponent's back.
Score +3 for taking back: Globe (8) vs (2) Scott Scott defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Globe's arms. Globe seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Scott tries to break free.
Globe doesn't have the hooks in and Scott manages to turn into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott looking to pass the guard. Globe is trying to control the position but Scott postures up. Globe looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Scott puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Scott is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Globe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Globe looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Scott pushes past his half guard into mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Globe (8) vs (7) Scott
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott goes for an armbar but Globe turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Globe. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Globe (10) vs (7) Scott Scott has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Globe should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Scott has tightened it up now! Globe should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
