Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Andrade pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Andrade lands with a nice body punch.
Stone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Andrade is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Andrade can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andrade seems a little lost for a moment, as Stone dominates the positioning.
Stone tries to advance to mount but Andrade denies him.
Andrade is looking for a sweep.
Andrade tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Stone avoids the attempt from Andrade to control.
Stone is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Andrade can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Stone tries to control but Andrade wriggling away.

Andrade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground.
Stone fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Andrade tries to hold on but Stone pushes him away.
Andrade is looking to improve his position but Stone isn't that keen on the idea.
Andrade manages to control the position for a moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stone prevents Andrade from getting the reversal.
Stone fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Andrade?

Andrade manages to control the position for a moment.
Andrade wants to hold on but Stone pushes him away.
Stone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Andrade is looking to escape.
Andrade slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Andrade tries to roll over but Stone keeps him under control.
Stone thows a huge punch but Andrade dodges it nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Andrade looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Andrade is breathing heavily.
Andrade trying to hold on to Stone's head to control him but Stone postures up.
Andrade kicks off Stone and gets to his feet.
Stone instigates a clinch.
Stone breaks from the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stone shoots and misses
and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stone doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Andrade counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Andrade.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Stone dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Andrade throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andrade but Andrade pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Andrade ducks under a wild hook from Stone.
Stone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andrade is fending him off so far but Stone persists. Nope, Andrade circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone avoids the body shot from Andrade.
Stone lands a nice shot to the body.
Stone wants to clinch up but Andrade keeps it at a distance.
Andrade tries to clinch but Stone moves away
so Stone counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Andrade is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Andrade keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully.
Stone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Andrade's head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stone's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Stone content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Andrade wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment.
Andrade controls Stone momentarily but Stone frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Andrade pinned against the cage. Andrade gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gabriel Andrade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Stone.
Andrade tries to clinch but Stone is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Andrade throws a looping overhand right but Stone ducks down to avoid it.

Stone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Andrade counters with a body kick.
Andrade shoots for a takedown but Stone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stone looks for a takedown but Andrade sprawls well.
Andrade scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Andrade wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Andrade feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Andrade can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Andrade controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Andrade gets to his feet. Stone looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Andrade throws a one two combo.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Andrade paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Andrade slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Andrade throws out a loose jab but Stone uses good head movement to avoid it.
Andrade looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Andrade takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Andrade moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Gabriel Andrade is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stone avoids the head kick by Andrade.
Stone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
