The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Merveille throws the left hand but Blair avoids the punch easily.
La Merveille fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blair manages to avoid it.
La Merveille looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blair fails with a takedown attempt.
Blair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around La Merveille's waist but La Merveille gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blair off to one side.
La Merveille throws a sloppy head kick and Blair moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blair shoots in but La Merveille avoids the takedown attempt easily.

La Merveille tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blair swivels and escapes.

La Merveille manages to break the clinch.
Blair shoots in for a double leg but La Merveille sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Blair really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
La Merveille has his takedown stuffed
and Blair counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Blair is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
La Merveille really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blair in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. La Merveille tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Blair!
