Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Holey clinches up with Guy and pushes him back against the cage. Holey has hold of one of Guy's legs. Guy is fighting the takedown attempt but Holey gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Holey (2) vs (0) Guy Guy is working the butterfly guard. Guy uses his free foot to push down on Holey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Holey. Holey tries to reverse the position but Guy maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy looking to secure an arm triangle but Holey defends it well. Holey tries to hold on but Guy pushes him away. Guy looking to control and managing it successfully. Holey manages to regain half guard. Good work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Holey looking for submissions off his back. Holey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Guy is taking a breather. Holey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Holey moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guy forces his way into half guard. Guy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Holey is looking for a sweep. Guy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Guy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Holey is looking to control Guy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Holey avoid being mounted?
