Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichioka Kaori (ranked 1547 p4p, 1654 weight class) and Temirbek Yuldashev (ranked 241 p4p, 259 weight class). Kaori comes to the cage accompanied by GOZEN. Yuldashev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Seven Nation Army - Dance Mix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Temirbek Yuldashev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Temirbek Yuldashev!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuldashev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yuldashev delivers a nice body kick.
Yuldashev looks to land a combination but Kaori avoids it well.
Kaori walks forward, straight into a front kick from Yuldashev.

The crowd cheers as Yuldashev lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kaori doesn't seem phased though.

A little feinted left hand from Kaori on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Yuldashev has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kaori moves into range and clinches up with Yuldashev.
Oh Kaori is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yuldashev is trying to maintain a safe position but Kaori gets an underhook and turns Yuldashev into the cage.
Kaori seems to have got his legs back now.
Kaori lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kaori swings wildly with an uppercut but Yuldashev uses good head movement to avoid it.

A lazy left from Kaori finds it's target.

Kaori slips under a jab.
Kaori jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Kaori tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yuldashev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It seemed like Yuldashev was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice body kick from Yuldashev.
Yuldashev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kaori jabs Yuldashev to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Yuldashev throws a body punch but Kaori moves out of range.
It appears Kaori was looking to counter with a kick there.

and Kaori counters with a stiff right hand.

Kaori is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Yuldashev looks to throw the jab but Kaori is out of range.
Yuldashev connects with a right hand. Kaori shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A quick step to the side and Kaori tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yuldashev avoids the body shot from Kaori.
Temirbek Yuldashev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaori cracks Yuldashev with an open hand slap.
Yuldashev is looking to land body kicks.
Kaori misses with a straight left.
Yuldashev takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Yuldashev misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kaori appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Temirbek Yuldashev will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Yuldashev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yuldashev cracks Kaori with a hook to the temple - Kaori is on wobbly legs here! Yuldashev swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kaori falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Yuldashev wins by TKO!
