The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers misses with a left hand
and O Doherty counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rivers connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between O Doherty's hands.
O Doherty takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
O Doherty bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rivers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rivers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rivers needs to keep his hands up - O Doherty had a free shot at his head there.
Rivers looks to throw the jab but O Doherty is out of range.
A quick step to the side and O Doherty tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
O Doherty moves out of range of the strikes.
O Doherty swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Doherty moves away.
Rivers scores with the left hand. O Doherty knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
O Doherty drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rivers lands with a cross.
O Doherty slips a straight right by Rivers.
A counter left hand to the body from O Doherty misses its target.
Rivers tries to bum rush O Doherty with a series of wild strikes but O Doherty uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rivers might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rivers swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and O Doherty counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rivers misses with a telegraphed body shot
and O Doherty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
O Doherty throws the kick towards the body but Rivers avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rivers closes the distance looking to clinch
and O Doherty counters with a lovely shot to the body.
O Doherty lands a nice shot to the body.
Rivers missing with a left hand there. O Doherty was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rivers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by O Doherty.
Good exchange - Rivers coming out on top.
Rivers misses with a looping left.
Rivers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
O Doherty lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Rivers falls backwards - clearly groggy! O Doherty dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
