Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evan Knuckle (ranked 4101 p4p, 3468 weight class) and Stu Pendous (ranked 427 p4p, 381 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Evan Knuckle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stu Pendous!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Knuckle.
Knuckle on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Good leg kick by Knuckle.

Knuckle gets a clinch.
Knuckle tries to pull guard but Pendous won't allow it.
Knuckle leaning his opponent against the cage.
Knuckle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pendous gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Knuckle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pendous smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Knuckle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knuckle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pendous lands a glancing blow to the side of Knuckle's head.

Knuckle tries a head kick but it misses.
Pendous throws out a counter right but Knuckle avoids it with no problem.

Knuckle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Knuckle looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knuckle tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pendous avoids it.
Pendous keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Knuckle's efforts to push away.
Pendous blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Knuckle wants to take the fight to the mat but Pendous manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Knuckle misses with a punch on the inside.
Pendous looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pendous letting Knuckle take a breather here.

Knuckle with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Pendous prevents the takedown attempt.
Knuckle tries to pull guard but Pendous won't allow it.
Knuckle is trying to break the clinch but Pendous is controlling him.
Knuckle fails to pull guard.

Knuckle manages to break the clinch.
Knuckle tries to clinch up but Pendous circles away and keeps his distance.
Knuckle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knuckle throws a wild body kick that Pendous sees coming a mile off.
Knuckle misses with a head kick.
Pendous doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Knuckle plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Pendous catches Knuckle with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Oh Knuckle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knuckle misses with a head kick.
Pendous swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Knuckle looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knuckle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Knuckle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knuckle seems to have got his legs back now.
Knuckle is breathing heavily.
Pendous throws a head kick that misses.
Knuckle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Knuckle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Knuckle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Pendous drops Knuckle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Knuckle looks back up at him and smiles so Pendous waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knuckle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Knuckle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pendous doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Knuckle misses with a takedown attempt
and Pendous counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Knuckle out cold! What a finish! Pendous is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stu Pendous!
Evan Knuckle was interviewed post fight and said 'He was lucky'.
