Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaxon Franks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Franz Nicholas!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicholas lands a right hook to the body.
Franks falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Nicholas counter with a right hand.
Franks throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nicholas counters with a crisp one two that drops Franks! Nicholas thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Franks to his feet! Franks is in big trouble!
Franks throws an off balance right hand
and Nicholas counters with a nice right hand that sends Franks toppling to the canvas! Franks scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nicholas finish him?!
Franks is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nicholas missing with a left hand there. Franks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nicholas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Franks.
Nicholas throws out a counter right but Franks avoids it with no problem.
Franks misses with a looping left.
Jaxon Franks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Franks moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Franks bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Franks misses with a hook
and Nicholas counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Franks out cold! What a finish! Nicholas is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
