Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Captain Blood (ranked 2359 p4p, 3041 weight class) and Brian Jones (ranked 316 p4p, 389 weight class). The key to victory for Captain Blood has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Captain Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Jones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with the takedown
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Blood to counter with a crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Blood.
Blood fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Blood feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Blood jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blood counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blood catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones tries to move into range but Blood moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Blood feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Jones crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Captain Blood!
Our winner, Captain Blood, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
