Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Papi Chichilla (ranked 4106 p4p, 3859 weight class) and Nick Johnny (ranked 317 p4p, 300 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nick Johnny was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Papi Chichilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Johnny!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnny pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnny fails in his attempt to clinch.
Chichilla misses the shot to the body.
Johnny shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chichilla slips a jab and a cross from Johnny.
Johnny tries to clinch up but Chichilla circles away and keeps his distance.
Chichilla cracks Johnny with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Chichilla counters with a left and a right that stings Johnny.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chichilla cracks Johnny with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Johnny shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Johnny throws a leg kick which misses Chichilla's front leg but catches the back leg as Chichilla tries to avoid it.

Chichilla bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Johnny's head.

Chichilla wants to slow Johnny down by chopping away at his legs.
Johnny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Chichilla counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnny has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chichilla finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnny's head.
Chichilla lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chichilla.

Johnny moves in looking to clinch but Chichilla pushes him off.
Johnny takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Chichilla has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Nick Johnny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chichilla throws a body shot but no joy.
Chichilla fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnny manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Johnny on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Chichilla counters with a series of strikes. Johnny will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnny is rocked!
Chichilla connects with a combination that backs up Johnny into the cage. Chichilla lands a flurry of punches that gets past Johnny's guard. Johnny is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Chichilla bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Papi Chichilla!
