Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Soderberg (ranked 24568 p4p, 24185 weight class) and Justice McManus (ranked 674 p4p, 663 weight class). McManus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pat Murphy of the Irish Brigade. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justice McManus!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soderberg scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Soderberg throws out a loose jab but McManus uses good head movement to avoid it.
McManus throws a counter combo.
Soderberg misses with a body shot.
We've been told by Soderberg's head coaches at BKC Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McManus slips a straight right by Soderberg.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McManus! But no joy.
The fighters circling - Soderberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McManus throws out a counter right but Soderberg avoids it with no problem.
Soderberg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McManus has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
McManus is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Soderberg.

Soderberg shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McManus eats them both and turns towards Soderberg to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

McManus unleashes a big counter combination but Soderberg bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Soderberg lands with an uppercut that bounces McManus off the cage and back into range.
McManus throws an off balance right hand
and Soderberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Soderberg throws a body shot but no joy.
McManus lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

McManus takes a swing at Soderberg's ribcage but misses.

Soderberg pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McManus back to the cage. Soderberg follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
McManus looks to land a body kick but Soderberg moved away.

Soderberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McManus moves away.

McManus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Soderberg.
McManus was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
McManus takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Soderberg misses with a hook to the body
and McManus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McManus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Soderberg finds it's way round the side to connect with McManus's head.
Soderberg keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

As Soderberg backs off McManus throws a huge counter combo but Soderberg manages to avoid it all.

and McManus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Soderberg's knee momentarily.

Soderberg throws a lazy right hand but McManus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
As Soderberg backs off McManus throws a huge counter combo but Soderberg manages to avoid it all.
Nice jab there from Soderberg.
McManus is rocked!
Soderberg fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked McManus out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Stefan Soderberg!
