Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Romanov (ranked 3981 p4p, 4466 weight class) and Jason Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Jackson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Romanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jackson! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romanov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Romanov wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Romanov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Romanov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Romanov tries for a kimura but Jackson is defending well. Romanov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is trying to escape the position but Romanov is controlling the position. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson tries to buck Romanov off but Romanov is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is still trying to improve position. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Romanov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jackson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Romanov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Romanov seems to be working for a kimura but Jackson defends the submission attempt. Jackson tries to get to full guard but Romanov has control of the leg. Romanov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romanov seems to be looking for submissions.

Romanov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Romanov eventually gives up the hold. Romanov is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.
Jackson gets full guard. Romanov trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Romanov is looking to advance position but Jackson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson looking to finish Romanov with some ground and pound. This is bad for Romanov! Jackson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Romanov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jackson lands a couple of good shots and Romanov has given up his back, trying to escape the position! The referee is taking a good look at Romanov as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Jackson!
Romanov is rocked! Romanov is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Oh Romanov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jackson doesn't have the hooks in and Romanov manages to turn into his guard.
Romanov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now. Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Romanov manages to get himself to full guard.
Romanov seems to have got his legs back now. Jackson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Romanov's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
