Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gary Ian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yohan Sangroon!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ian shoots in and bounces Sangroon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ian might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ian accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sangroon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sangroon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ian is one step ahead there.
Ian lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ian connects with a couple of short punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sangroon wants to sweep but no luck.
Ian working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Sangroon is rocked!
Ian postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sangroon covers up, he's hurt! Ian keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Ian and the ref steps in to end the fight! Ian can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Ian!
