Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Cifaretto (ranked 2265 p4p, 2466 weight class) and Tyke Bison (ranked 321 p4p, 345 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bison's choice of entrance music: Tash - Destruction. Ralph Cifaretto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyke Bison!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bison looks to land a combination but Cifaretto avoids it well.
We've been told by Cifaretto's head coaches at Top of Food Chain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bison stuffs the takedown attempt from Cifaretto. Cifaretto gets slowly back to his feet.
Bison takes one to the chin there.
Bison looks to land a combination. Cifaretto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Ralph Cifaretto has been cut.
Bison looks to throw the jab but Cifaretto is out of range.
Bison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cifaretto doesn't seem bothered though.
Cifaretto lands a lovely overhand right.

Cifaretto closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bison's guard.

Bison is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cifaretto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Cifaretto is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bison is looking to stand back up but Cifaretto counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bison.

Cifaretto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bison sees it coming and defends easily.

Bison has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Cifaretto is on him like a limpet, forcing Bison back against the cage.
Bison gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cifaretto.
Bison is trying to break free.
Cifaretto is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Cifaretto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cifaretto has Bison pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bison manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bison's coach down at 3Band MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bison's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Cifaretto is working for takedown but Bison is calmly controlling the position for now.

Bison scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bison throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tyke Bison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cifaretto looks to throw the jab but Bison is out of range.
Cifaretto cracks Bison with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bison misses with a looping left.
Bison lands a nice shot to the body.
Cifaretto lands a really nice looking cross but Bison seems unphased.
Cifaretto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bison swivels and escapes.

Tyke Bison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bison avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Cifaretto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bison as he jumps to the side.
Cifaretto doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cifaretto is breathing heavily.
Cifaretto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bison digs a good hook to Cifaretto's body.
Bison thuds a left hand into Cifaretto's body.
Donk. Bison catches Cifaretto right on the button with a cross.
Cifaretto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bison to score with a decent uppercut.

Bison misses the shot to the body.

Bison drops Cifaretto with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cifaretto looks back up at him and smiles so Bison waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Cifaretto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bison connects with a body shot that sends Cifaretto's belly button to the back.
Bison changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bison is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cifaretto rather than just go for the knockout.
Cifaretto loses concentration momentarily and Bison pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cifaretto crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Bison finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

After winning the bout, Tyke Bison thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
