Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Tate (ranked 23578 p4p, 23591 weight class) and Major Pain (ranked 703 p4p, 695 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Tate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Major Pain!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate tries to clinch but Pain moves away

and Pain counters with a shoot takedown. Tate fights it but they end up in guard.
Pain controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Pain's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Tate wants to get back to his feet but Pain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pain's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pain postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Pain looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Pain stands and steps away. Tate gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Pain darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pain is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Pain is looking for a kimura but Tate is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pain to get the leverage.
Pain moves nicely into side control.

Pain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tate, who protects the arm well.
Tate is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Tate looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Pain content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Tate gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Tate wants to control but Pain is having none of it.
A nice elbow there by Pain.
Tate takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Tate wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pain has got one arm under Tate's chin. This could be trouble... Tate trying to control the other hand but Pain gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Tate has tapped out! The fight is over!
