The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simba takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sunesson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Simba.
Simba punishes Sunesson's body with a nice straight punch.

Simba pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

It looked like Sunesson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Simba.
Sunesson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Simba will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sunesson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sunesson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Sunesson throws a hook but Simba avoids it easily.
Sunesson throws a body punch but Simba moves out of range.
Simba throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Sunesson swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Simba has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Simba lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sunesson takes a step back to recover.
Simba thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sunesson if he has to take too many more of those.

Some bone on bone action there as Simba checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sunesson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Sunesson throws a series of punches but Simba moves out of range.

Sunesson drops Simba with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Simba looks back up at him and smiles so Sunesson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Simba is rocked!
Sunesson pounces like a tiger and cracks Simba with a vicious hook! Simba is down but not out! Sunesson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
