Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, FrankFurt Livingstone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lucian McParland! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Livingstone throws a series of punches but McParland avoids them all with ease. McParland scores with a three punch combo!

McParland ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McParland changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Livingstone is trying hard to land a takedown here. McParland sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Despite the aggression on McParland's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Livingstone shoots and misses and McParland counters by moving into the clinch. McParland has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Livingstone regains guard immediately. Livingstone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McParland on the ground. McParland engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. McParland drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McParland jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McParland passes Livingstone's left leg - he's now in half guard. McParland is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Livingstone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McParland. McParland works his foot free and advances to mount. McParland controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McParland working for a guillotine from mount but Livingstone is in no mood to give up. Livingstone tries to hold on but McParland pushes him away. McParland controlling his opponent. McParland tries to control but Livingstone wriggling away. McParland is working for a guillotine from mount but Livingstone frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Livingstone is trying desperately to improve position. Livingstone wants to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Livingstone has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Livingstone wants to get back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lucian McParland dominated that round. That's time! Livingstone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McParland closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Livingstone did well to prevent McParland getting side control. McParland prevents Livingstone from standing back up.
McParland with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Livingstone wants to control the action here but instead McParland manages to pass to full mount! Livingstone has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McParland controls the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Livingstone is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by McParland.

Livingstone trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. McParland working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - McParland's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McParland looking for the choke from the back. McParland looking for the RNC. McParland has the hooks in. Livingstone is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Livingstone is keeping busy.

McParland is not going to allow Livingstone to sit and survive in this position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lucian McParland showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! McParland blocks a head kick by Livingstone.
Livingstone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McParland paws at him with a jab and circles away. Excellent takedown into side control there by McParland. Livingstone is being controlled here. McParland working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McParland trying to control the position but Livingstone is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee asks McParland politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. McParland prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. McParland wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Livingstone, who protects the arm well. McParland takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Livingstone parries the strikes from McParland easily there. McParland is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Livingstone to escape.
McParland taking a breather here. McParland is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Livingstone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McParland wants to control but Livingstone is keeping him busy. Lucian McParland is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A lull in the action here as McParland stalls from top position. McParland stands up and we're back to a striking position. Livingstone throws a jab but it's blocked by McParland. Livingstone gets caught flat footed, as McParland shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Livingstone is wriggling around but McParland manages to pass to half guard.
McParland has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McParland content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McParland wants to control but Livingstone is keeping him busy. Livingstone won't allow McParland to pass to mount. Livingstone is staying active underneath McParland, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McParland might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Livingstone haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

And that's the end of the fight! Lucian McParland comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McParland has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
