Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toran Roth (ranked 2686 p4p, 23454 weight class) and Koba Babka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roth's entrance music is Dogodine u Prizrenu. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 16 - 2, fighting out of London, Toran Roth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Koba Babka! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babka tries to clinch but Roth is having none of it. Roth seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Babka lands with a straight right. Roth didn't see that one coming. Babka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roth manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Roth loads up on a big right hand but Babka slips the punch. Babka steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. No joy there for Babka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Babka throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Roth wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Roth feints and as Babka raises his hands in defense, Roth changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Babka trying to keep a closed guard but Roth is proving a slippery customer.
Roth is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Babka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Roth stands and steps away. Babka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roth swats him away and circles back towards the center. Babka dives in and grabs Roth's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roth pushes down on Babka's head and hops out. Babka has Roth up against the cage in a clinch.
Babka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've been told by Roth's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Babka has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Babka there as he acknowledges the shot. Babka shoots for a takedown but Roth saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Babka tries to sprawl but Roth drives through with a takedown into half guard. Roth not doing much here.
Roth is looking for a kimura but Babka is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roth to get the leverage. Babka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Roth is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roth moves into full mount! Babka won't be happy about that! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roth controlling the position easily from mount. Roth has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babka tries to hold on but Roth pushes him away. Roth controlling the position easily from mount. Roth get's back to his feet. Koba Babka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Babka looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Babka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Roth pulls him back up using the underhooks. Toran Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koba Babka. Babka throws an elbow but it's blocked.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Babka is trying to maintain a safe position but Roth gets an underhook and turns Babka into the cage. Roth lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Babka or not. Babka is trying to stall.
Babka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Babka misses with a takedown attempt and Roth counters with a one-two to the body. Roth keeps the fight on the outside. Roth is looking for a counter combo. Roth lands a nice hook to Babka's body. Babka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Babka dives in for a single leg takedown but Roth sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Babka closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Roth misses with a few strikes there.
Babka darts in trying to clinch and Roth counters with a straight punch to the midsection. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Toran Roth dominated that round. That's time! Roth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Babka tries to clinch but Roth moves away and Roth counters with a right hand to the body. Roth looking to score a takedown here. Babka is defending well but Roth drives through and ends up in Babka's guard. Roth content to stall in guard here. Babka wants to control but Roth passes easily into half guard.
Roth decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Babka looks to clinch and Roth counters with a three punch combo that has Babka backing up. Babka nods at Roth to acknowledge the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roth throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Koba Babka has been cut. Babka fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roth sprawls well. Roth wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Babka gets slowly back to his feet. No joy there for Roth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Babka throws a head kick that Roth semi-blocks.
Toran Roth is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Babka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Roth counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Babka! Toran Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koba Babka. Roth takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Toran Roth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Babka is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roth decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Babka misses with a low kick.
Babka doesn't succeed with the takedown and Roth counters with a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Babka lands a front kick. Roth clinches up against the cage. Babka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roth smiles and moves away.
A head kick misses from Roth. Babka steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Roth. Babka instigates a clinch. Babka manages to break the clinch.
Babka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roth manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Roth throws a head kick that half lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Babka takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Babka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Roth as he jumps to the side. Babka shoots in but no luck this time. Babka is breathing heavily. Roth drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Babka wants to get back to his feet but Roth is dominant here and he's now got Babka's back! Roth controlling from the back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roth avoiding Babka 's attempts to control his hands. Babka is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Roth.
Babka is trying to stand back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Babka's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Toran Roth dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Koba Babka's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Roth misses with a jab, cross combination.

Roth works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Babka clinches up with Roth and pushes him back against the cage. Babka fails to pull guard.

Roth is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Babka can do to turn this around? Babka doesn't manage to clinch there - Roth circles away.
Roth throws a body shot but no joy. Roth slips a jab and a cross from Babka.
Roth lands a nice looking kick to the body. Babka takes a step back to recover. Babka wants to clinch. A head kick from Roth lands but Babka takes it in his stride. Toran Roth is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Babka moves into the clinch. Babka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Roth works the jab nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Babka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Babka throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Babka wants to clinch. Roth is looking for a counter combo. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Babka is defended easily by Roth. Toran Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koba Babka.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roth moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Babka wants to clinch. Roth looks to land a body kick but Babka moved away. Babka blocks a head kick by Roth.
Babka steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Roth. Roth pushes Babka up against the cage in a clinch. Babka is trying to pull guard but Roth has him pressed against the cage. Babka tries to pull guard but Roth won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Babka looking to stall.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roth breaks the clinch.
Roth looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Koba Babka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Babka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Roth counters with a three punch combo that has Babka backing up. Babka nods at Roth to acknowledge the strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Toran Roth showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
