Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Salvatore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore comes into the arena with I Could Kick Your Ass blaring out of the sound system. Hulk Salvatore struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 148.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Hulk Salvatore will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hulk Salvatore! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salvatore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Salvatore looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Moore gets to his feet. Salvatore looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Moore has managed to clinch.
Moore effectively controlling the action here. Moore pulls guard effortlessly. Moore is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Salvatore is aware though and is defending well. Moore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Moore pulls Salvatore in close to prevent any damage. Moore looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Moore is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Moore has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Salvatore's guard. Moore seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Moore might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Moore pushing down on Salvatore's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Moore is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Moore passes to side control. Moore controlling from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Salvatore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Moore goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Salvatore rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Moore's guard! Nice work there by Salvatore! Moore wants to sweep here but Salvatore controlling him for the moment. Moore trying to control the position here. Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Salvatore.

Moore has his feet on Salvatore's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Moore is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvatore's half guard. Salvatore is refusing to be controlled, as Moore sits in half guard. Salvatore is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Moore is working for a submission of some sort.
Moore stands up and beckons Salvatore to join him on the feet. Salvatore shoots and misses and Moore counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Salvatore's guard now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moore is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moore throws a nice looking combination but Salvatore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Moore closes the distance and pushes Salvatore back into the cage. Moore missing with knees to the body.
Moore is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Moore tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Salvatore just stands there and leans against the cage. Moore tries for a takedown but Salvatore manages to get underhooks.

Moore pulls Salvatore in close to prevent any damage. Moore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore is pulling down on Salvatore's head to control his posture. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvatore is one step ahead there. Moore is working hard here to advance position. Moore on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moore tries to get out of the position. Moore is adopting a defensive guard. Moore pushes Salvatore off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Moore scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Salvatore seems a little lost for a moment, as Moore dominates the positioning. Moore working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Salvatore being controlled for a moment. Salvatore is looking to regain half guard here but Moore keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore taking a breather here.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Justin Moore just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Moore scores a takedown into full mount! Moore looking to control and managing it successfully. Moore is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Salvatore can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Moore working Salvatore over with strikes here. Moore pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Moore dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Moore moves into range and clinches up with Salvatore. Moore working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Moore fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Moore trying to control the position but instead, Salvatore has worked for underhooks and has pushed Moore into the cage. Moore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moore drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Salvatore wants to stand and escape but Moore is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moore stands and throws Salvatore's legs to the side, diving into side control. Moore advances nicely into full mount. Justin Moore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Moore looking for a guillotine from mount but Salvatore is having none of it. Moore controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvatore is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Moore controlling the position easily from mount. Moore seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvatore for as long as he can get away with. Moore get's back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Moore forces Salvatore back against the cage and clinches. Moore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moore closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Salvatore wants to control but Moore postures up. You can see the frustration on Salvatore's face as Moore controls the position. Moore has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Salvatore cracks Moore with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Salvatore. Moore takes the fight into the clinch. Moore gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Moore advances position into side control! Salvatore is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Salvatore is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Moore is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Moore content just to control the position here. Hulk Salvatore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore looking to control but Salvatore is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Moore gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Excellent takedown into side control there by Moore. Moore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Salvatore keeps working. Moore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Moore is looking to take a break and control but Salvatore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Moore showed his dominance in that final round. Well Moore has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
