Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 24285 p4p, 24212 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yawa Kiang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Way Nada's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nada has a takedown stuffed.
Kiang is looking to counter with a body kick.
Kiang closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nada quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nada is positioning himself well to prevent Kiang advancing to mount.
Kiang is controlling the pace.

Nada is trying is best to control the position here.
Nada is trying to maintain the position but Kiang is very close to passing his half guard.

Nada wants to sweep but Kiang has passed to side control!

Nada shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kiang but Kiang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
It looked like Kiang was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Kiang shoots in for a double leg but Nada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nada appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Nada shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kiang is trying to defend but Nada finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kiang has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nada is working away from the top position though.

Nada is taking a breather. Kiang says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nada closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kiang did well to prevent Nada getting side control.
Nada takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kiang keeping hold of Nada's head, controlling as best he can.

Kiang is looking for a sweep. Nada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

and Kiang counters with a nice kick to the body.

Nada throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nada seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Way Nada has got the better of the ground game so far.

Nada content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Way Nada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Kiang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nada sprawls well initially but Kiang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nada avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kiang.

Kiang looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nada is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kiang tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nada defends well and Kiang ends up having to push Nada into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nada wants to take the fight to the mat but Kiang manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kiang gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Nada preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Kiang is just content to waste time from the top position. Nada takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Nada is trying to keep Kiang in close.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yawa Kiang showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kiang has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
