Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Conrad Cartwright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Olo Adofo!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright drops Adofo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Adofo looks back up at him and smiles so Cartwright waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Olo Adofo has been cut.
Adofo moves in looking to clinch but Cartwright pushes him off.
Cartwright sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Adofo's defenses. It connects perfectly with Adofo's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Conrad Cartwright!
A relieved looking Conrad Cartwright thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
