Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Venicius Da Cunha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Badder! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Cunha throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Badder counters with a lovely straight right hand! Badder fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Da Cunha manages to avoid it. Da Cunha looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A telegraphed right hand from Da Cunha misses the target. Da Cunha sizes up Badder with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Da Cunha tries to clinch up but Badder circles away and keeps his distance. Da Cunha tries to close the distance and clinch but Badder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Da Cunha tries a head kick but it misses.

Da Cunha closes the distance but Badder moves to the side and Badder counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Da Cunha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Badder swats him away and circles back towards the center. Da Cunha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Venicius Da Cunha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Badder shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Da Cunha is trying to defend but Badder finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Badder trying to control the action but Da Cunha is working from the bottom. Badder is just content to waste time from the top position. Da Cunha takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Badder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Badder trying to control the position from guard on top but Da Cunha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Da Cunha has his feet on Badder's thighs here. He's pushed Badder off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Badder screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
