Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chel Diokno (ranked 1775 p4p, 2653 weight class) and Michael Washington (ranked 125 p4p, 168 weight class). Diokno comes to the cage accompanied by This is my story. Washington has chosen The Rising as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Chel Diokno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Washington!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington dives in for a single leg takedown but Diokno sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Diokno throws a sloppy head kick and Washington moves out of range easily.
Diokno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Washington misses with a takedown attempt
and Diokno counters with a low kick, right behind Washington 's knee.
Washington swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Diokno counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Washington has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Diokno.
Diokno throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Washington tries to keep at a distance but Diokno has taken the fight into the clinch.
Diokno scores with a knee to the head.
Washington is rocked!
Diokno lands a big knee to the head and Washington goes down! Diokno pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chel Diokno!
After winning the bout, Chel Diokno thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
