Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between roy bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cathal Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bull comes to the cage accompanied by do it. Kelly has chosen Flogging Molly - Devil's Dance Floor as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but bull swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

bull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kelly defends it nicely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as bull accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
bull throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kelly's waist but Kelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing bull off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
bull misses with a few strikes there.
bull cracks Kelly with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

bull moves into range and connects with a jab.
A jab-cross combination lands for bull and sends Kelly crashing to the mat! bull follows him down to the mat - Kelly regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

bull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
