Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Fitzmaurice (ranked 3559 p4p, 3208 weight class) and Infernitio Subbin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Fitzmaurice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Infernitio Subbin!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzmaurice loads up on a big right hand but Subbin slips the punch.
Fitzmaurice definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Subbin gets a clinch.

Fitzmaurice gets control of Subbin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fitzmaurice will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Subbin advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Subbin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fitzmaurice!

Subbin goes for an armbar but Fitzmaurice turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fitzmaurice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fitzmaurice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Subbin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fitzmaurice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Subbin on the ground.

Fitzmaurice goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Subbin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fitzmaurice's guard! Nice work there by Subbin!

Fitzmaurice has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Subbin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fitzmaurice.
Subbin advances to mount.

Subbin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fitzmaurice to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fitzmaurice shrugs it off.

Fitzmaurice defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Subbin's arms.
Well, with Subbin on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Fitzmaurice is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Subbin is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Fitzmaurice is defending well though. Subbin let's go of the attempt for now.
