Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Van Dukes (ranked 4629 p4p, 3879 weight class) and Owen Tooogood (ranked 513 p4p, 467 weight class). The key to victory for Van Dukes has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Dukes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Owen Tooogood!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick from Dukes, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dukes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dukes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tooogood darts in looking for a takedown but Dukes gets double underhooks and turns Tooogood into the cage.

Dukes rushes Tooogood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dukes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dukes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tooogood feints the counter takedown.
Van Dukes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dukes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dukes throws a head kick that Tooogood semi-blocks.
Tooogood looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tooogood slips a jab and a cross from Dukes.
Dukes cracks Tooogood with an open hand slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dukes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tooogood paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tooogood showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dukes.
Tooogood tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Tooogood finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dukes attempts a counter takedown but Tooogood avoids it well and moves away.
Van Dukes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tooogood closes the distance and clinches up with Dukes, looking for a takedown. Tooogood pushes Dukes against the cage but Dukes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dukes. That's going to slow Tooogood down.
Dukes throws a series of punches but Tooogood avoids them all with ease.

Tooogood gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Tooogood might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tooogood is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Dukes won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Tooogood off his unconscious opponent!
