Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giggle Valentine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Whealer Van Hire!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Van Hire shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Valentine eats them both and turns towards Van Hire to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Giggle Valentine has been cut.
Whealer Van Hire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valentine displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Van Hire throws out the jab.
Van Hire ducks right into an uppercut from Valentine.
Van Hire throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Van Hire throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Valentine.
Van Hire walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Van Hire lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Valentine at a distance.
Valentine misses with a right hand
and Van Hire counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Valentine on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Valentine is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Hire walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Valentine drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Van Hire swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Valentine's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Whealer Van Hire!
Whealer Van Hire decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
