Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dude Dudeson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yar Bol!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudeson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bol as he jumps to the side.
Bol throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A jab from Dudeson misses.
Dudeson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bol quickly recovers to half guard.
Bol pushes Dudeson off and gets back to his feet.
Dudeson shoots for a double leg takedown but Bol sprawls well. He's pushed Dudeson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bol ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dudeson moves away.
Bol wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bol looks to land a body kick but Dudeson moved away.
A nice leg kick from Bol, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dudeson lands with an uppercut that bounces Bol off the cage and back into range.
Bol scores with a spinning back kick!
Bol lands a big right hand that sends Dudeson crashing to the mat! Bol stays standing though and waves Dudeson back to his feet!
It looks like Dude Dudeson has been cut.
Dudeson moves out of range of the strikes.
Bol throws a solid leg kick but Dudeson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bol.
Dudeson tries a head kick but it misses.
Dudeson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bol as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dude Dudeson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dudeson is breathing heavily.
