Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Aki (ranked 4344 p4p, 4324 weight class) and Steve Ryker (ranked 0 p4p, 485 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ryker's choice of entrance music: Killing in the Name of- Rage Against The Machine. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ryker just misses with a elbow thrown towards Aki's brow.

Ryker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Aki to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aki stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ryker has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Aki manages to get his head free but now Ryker has transitioned to an armbar! Aki grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ryker! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Steve Ryker was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
