Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Wladimir Klitschko (ranked 5064 p4p, 4912 weight class) and Muhammad Ali (ranked 222 p4p, 216 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Wladimir Klitschko! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muhammad Ali! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klitschko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ali's head.
It looks like Muhammad Ali has been cut. Klitschko misses with a looping left. Klitschko looks to score with a jab to the body but Ali is just out of range. Ali now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Klitschko throws a right and a left that Ali avoids nicely. Klitschko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Klitschko scores with a hook. Klitschko throws a poor cross that misses
letting Ali counter with a right hand.
It looks like Wladimir Klitschko has been cut. Klitschko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Klitschko throws a shot from downtown. Ali moves away and avoids it. Ali blocks a jab. Klitschko misses with a looping left. Klitschko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ali displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Klitschko throws out the jab. As Klitschko backs off Ali throws a huge counter combo but Klitschko manages to avoid it all. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Klitschko cracks Ali with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Klitschko throws an overhand right that lands on Ali's shoulder, as Ali tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klitschko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ali looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Klitschko throws out a loose jab but Ali uses good head movement to avoid it. Klitschko throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ali counters with a right hand to the body. Klitschko throws a good cross that connects.

Ali throws an overhand right that lands on Klitschko's shoulder, as Klitschko tries to avoid the shot. A shot to the body from Klitschko misses and Ali counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wladimir Klitschko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ali swings and misses with a shot to the body and Klitschko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Klitschko darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Ali on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ali gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Klitschko.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Klitschko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Klitschko misses with an uppercut. Ali looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jab, jab by Klitschko - just one landing. Ali slips under a jab. Ali looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Klitschko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Klitschko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ali.

and Ali counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Klitschko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ali moves away. Ali is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Ali connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Klitschko thows a left - swing and a miss! Ali lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Klitschko throws a poor cross that misses
and Ali connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A shot to the liver by Klitschko. Beautiful body shot. Klitschko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Klitschko throws out a powerful jab. Klitschko misses with a body shot.

Klitschko looks to land a combination but Ali avoids it well. Ali is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Klitschko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ali now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Klitschko is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ali thuds his right hand into Klitschko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ali throws a jab when Klitschko was well out of range. Klitschko swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Klitschko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ali moves away. It seemed like Ali was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Klitschko throws the left hand but Ali avoids the punch easily. Klitschko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ali uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Klitschko.
Klitschko misses with an uppercut. Klitschko dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ali steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Klitschko. Klitschko misses the jab. Klitschko doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ali looks to land a combination but Klitschko avoids it well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wladimir Klitschko dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Klitschko falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ali counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ali slips under a jab. A left lands for Klitschko. Klitschko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Klitschko bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nice defenses there by Ali. Klitschko cracks Ali with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab lands there for Klitschko.
That has opened up Muhammad Ali's cut even more. Wladimir Klitschko is winning the standup battle so far. Klitschko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ali counters with a lovely straight right hand! Klitschko misses with a lunging right hand
and Ali counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Klitschko to the mat! Ali runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Klitschko is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Klitschko is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Ali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali slips a jab from Klitschko. Ali's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Klitschko connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ali scrambles back to his feet. Klitschko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ali sees it coming and avoids it easily. Klitschko misses the jab. Klitschko throws a lazy uppercut
and Ali counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Klitschko onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue. Klitschko throws a hook to the side of Ali's head but Ali sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Klitschko glances at the clock... BAM! Ali nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Klitschko crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Klitschko is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Muhammad Ali! Muhammad Ali is the new super heavyweight champion! A very excited looking Muhammad Ali rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
