Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hattie Sanford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitsuhiro Ishida!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanford goes for a double leg but Ishida avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ishida continues to drive forward.
Ishida turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ishida manages to end up in side control.
Ishida has hold of Sanford's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sanford tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ishida cranks the arm and Sanford screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sanford, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mitsuhiro Ishida!
