Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Doe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hall. That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Doe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Doe is still trying to improve position. Hall controlling the position easily from mount. Doe wants to hold on but Hall pushes him away. Hall controlling from the full mount. Hall seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Doe is holding on tight.
Hall is working hard here to advance position.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Hall takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Doe is trying to escape the mount but Hall keeps good control and instead manages to take Doe's back.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Hall seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Doe for as long as he can get away with. Hall is not going to allow Doe to sit and survive in this position. I would not like to be Doe right now.

Doe trying to control the action but Hall just sinks the hooks in. Hall controls the action. Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Hall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Doe is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Hall off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Doe breaks Hall's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
