The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pretzel fails in his attempt to clinch.
Abud dives in and scores a takedown into Pretzel's guard.

Pretzel moves in looking to clinch but Abud pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abud closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pretzel did well to prevent Abud getting side control.
Abud is looking for a kimura but Pretzel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Abud to get the leverage.
