Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Banks (ranked 3621 p4p, 24995 weight class) and Judas Gonzalez (ranked 169 p4p, 249 weight class). Judas Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robbie Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Judas Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gonzalez. Gonzalez thows a left - swing and a miss! Banks dodges the punch combination from Gonzalez.
Banks was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Banks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gonzalez. A little feinted left hand from Banks on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Banks moves out of range of the strikes. Gonzalez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Gonzalez misses with an uppercut
so Banks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Banks throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Banks tries to free his leg and advance position but Gonzalez is retaining full guard. Banks connects with a couple of short punches. Banks trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gonzalez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Banks throwing strikes from guard but Gonzalez blocks nicely. Banks wants to pass the guard but Gonzalez is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks throws a big right hand that misses. Banks controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Banks scoring with punches to the head and body. Banks forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Banks working the head and body with strikes. Gonzalez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Banks looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
It looks like Judas Gonzalez has been cut. Banks not landing any meaningful shots this time. Banks is nestled in close to Gonzalez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Banks is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Gonzalez is rocked! Banks controlling the action here. Gonzalez is still in real trouble! Can Banks finish him? Banks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gonzalez's head. Gonzalez seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks content to control rather than advance. Gonzalez has hold of Banks's hands but Banks slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Banks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Well, if Banks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gonzalez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Banks. Gonzalez has hold of Banks's hands but Banks slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Banks lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gonzalez quite badly. Gonzalez pulls Banks in close trying to recover. Banks postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gonzalez on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gonzalez doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robbie Banks!
