Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Pending (ranked 6187 p4p, 3112 weight class) and Derek Blueboy (ranked 0 p4p, 192 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 60 - 175 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Blueboy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blueboy scores with a takedown into Pending's guard.
Pending looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Blueboy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Blueboy postures up and lands a big shot to Pending's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blueboy stays in close to Pending's body and controls the position.
Pending might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blueboy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Pending can't keep his opponent in guard - Blueboy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Blueboy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Pending could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Blueboy stands up from half guard.

Blueboy clinches up against the cage.

Blueboy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Blueboy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Blueboy has hold of Pending's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pending seems comfortable defending it but Blueboy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pending is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pending is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Blueboy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
