The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Salar moves out of range as Karacan strikes. Salar tries to counter by closing the distance. Enver Karacan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Karacan moves into the clinch. Salar controlling the action here for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karacan letting Salar take a breather here. Salar receives a warning from the referee for stalling. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Salar takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Karacan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Salar taking a breather. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salar stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Enver Karacan. Well Karacan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
