Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luiz Carboza! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carboza fails in his attempt to clinch. Carboza drives through and clinches with Zakrzewski against the cage.
Zakrzewski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Zakrzewski moves into the clinch successfully.
Zakrzewski wants to break free but Carboza has control.

Zakrzewski is working for takedown but Carboza is calmly controlling the position for now. Carboza tries to clinch but Zakrzewski moves out of range. Carboza clinches up against the cage. Carboza crunches a lovely knee into Zakrzewski's ribcage. Zakrzewski seems to have got his legs back now. Carboza drops Zakrzewski with a big knee straight up the middle! Zakrzewski is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
