The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huevos fails to land the takedown.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Cox.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Cox decides to stand back up.
Huevos throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Cox moves into the clinch successfully.

Cox manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Cox is looking to stand up but Huevos isn't so interested in that idea.
Huevos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cox on the ground.
Cox is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Huevos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cox pulls his head out easily.
Cox slips a nice elbow through Huevos's hands, connecting with Huevos's forehead.
Still in half guard, Cox seems content to control.

Cox seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Huevos is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
