Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Kelleher (ranked 4426 p4p, 4329 weight class) and Jake Lost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Padraig Kelleher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Lost!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lost lands with a nice combination. Kelleher backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Padraig Kelleher has been cut.
Jake Lost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lost gets a takedown into half guard.
Lost stalling.
Kelleher is trying to stand up here but Lost is controlling him well.
Lost really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kelleher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kelleher pushes Lost off and gets back to his feet.

Kelleher tries to keep at a distance but Lost has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lost blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kelleher swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Lost has hold of one of Kelleher's legs. Kelleher is fighting the takedown attempt but Lost gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Lost won't allow Kelleher to get back to his feet.

Lost wants to control from the top but Kelleher keeps moving.
Lost prevents Kelleher from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Lost gets to his feet. Kelleher looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kelleher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lost paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lost gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lost manages to break the clinch.
Kelleher keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kelleher scores with a hook to the body. Lost takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lost tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Kelleher was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lost.

Lost throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kelleher was covering up waiting for the punch and Lost finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kelleher wants to stand up but Lost is controlling him.
Lost stays in close to Kelleher's body and controls the position.
Lost's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Kelleher is wriggling around but Lost manages to pass to half guard.
Kelleher is trying to stand up here but Lost is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Lost instigates a clinch.
Kelleher tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kelleher swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kelleher misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lost leaning his opponent against the cage.

Lost breaks the clinch.

Kelleher displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lost.
Kelleher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelleher wants it to stay on the feet.
Kelleher is looking to counter punch.
Padraig Kelleher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Lost.
Lost lands a nice hook to Kelleher's body. Kelleher takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelleher trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Lost takes the fight into the clinch.
Lost has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kelleher fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kelleher displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lost.

Lost shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lost showed some decent athleticism there.
Lost takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kelleher wants to get back to his feet.

Lost perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Kelleher looking for a guillotine here but Lost defends easily.

Kelleher isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lost stacks Kelleher on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lost!

Lost stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jake Lost is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kelleher moves out of range of the body kick from Lost.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jake Lost.
I've got Lost winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
