Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Jaeger! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hector Guerrero! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaeger tries to close the distance and clinch but Guerrero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Guerrero moves in looking to clinch but Jaeger pushes him off. Jaeger throws a quick inside leg kick. Jaeger scores with a leg kick.
A head kick misses from Jaeger. Jaeger throws a sloppy head kick and Guerrero moves out of range easily. A head kick misses from Jaeger. Jaeger lands a nice looking body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaeger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jaeger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Guerrero closes the distance and clinches up with Jaeger, looking for a takedown. Guerrero pushes Jaeger against the cage but Jaeger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Guerrero looks gassed! Guerrero misses with a looping left. Jaeger misses with a head kick.
Guerrero blocks a head kick by Jaeger.
Jaeger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jaeger misses with a series of wild punches.
Guerrero wants to clinch up but Jaeger keeps it at a distance. Travis Jaeger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Jaeger.
Jaeger fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaeger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Guerrero. Jaeger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jaeger drives through with a takedown into guard. Guerrero keeping moving, preventing Jaeger from controlling successfully. Jaeger is in close to Guerrero's body, working some short punches and elbows. Guerrero throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jaeger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jaeger working some strikes from top position. Jaeger working some strikes from top position. Jaeger trying to control the position from guard on top but Guerrero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jaeger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jaeger working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jaeger passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jaeger stands up and beckons Guerrero to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Jaeger dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Hector Guerrero has been cut. Guerrero avoids the head kick by Jaeger.
Guerrero is breathing heavily. Jaeger throws a sloppy head kick and Guerrero moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaeger lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Guerrero on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jaeger circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Guerrero drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Jaeger follows Guerrero to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
