Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Choke (ranked 74 p4p, 85 weight class) and Aaron Wolf (ranked 11 p4p, 12 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf misses with a double jab.

Choke fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wolf sprawls well initially but Choke persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Choke is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wolf sees it coming and defends easily.

Wolf looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Choke throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolf tries to roll over but Choke keeps him under control.

Choke is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Choke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Choke tries to free his leg and advance position but Wolf is retaining full guard.

Wolf is looking for a triangle but Choke pushes his legs off easily.

Our spies down at at California Top Team inform us that Wolf has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Wolf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Choke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wolf escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Choke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wolf can't keep his opponent in guard - Choke advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Choke is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Wolf to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Choke postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wolf is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Choke, into his guard.

Wolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Choke swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Choke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wolf wants to stand but Choke has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Wolf working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Wolf let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Choke drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wolf manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Choke has Wolf in his guard.

Choke wants to sweep but no luck.
Choke wants to improve his position but instead Wolf has moved into half guard.
Choke manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wolf avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Choke looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wolf is one step ahead there.
Choke is striking off his back. Wolf thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Choke moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Choke lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Choke postures up in Wolf's guard and throws a big left but Wolf blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Choke passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Choke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Choke looks up at the clock and then as Wolf takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Choke smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Choke is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wolf is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wolf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Choke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Choke's back!

That was a close second round but I would say that David Choke will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Aaron Wolf has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
