Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sand Storm (ranked 5331 p4p, 4265 weight class) and Alexander Malkovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sand Storm has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Sand Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Malkovich! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Storm pushes Malkovich back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Storm's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Storm moves into range and clinches up with Malkovich. The referee is keeping an eye on Storm - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Storm breaks the clinch.
Storm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Malkovich looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm is fighting to break Malkovich's control of his arms but Malkovich is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Storm has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Malkovich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Storm wants to control from the top but Malkovich keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malkovich trying to keep a closed guard but Storm is proving a slippery customer.
Malkovich wants to sweep but no luck. Malkovich is adopting a defensive guard. Storm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Malkovich lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Malkovich connects with a couple of short punches. Malkovich trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Storm manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Storm wants to control from the top but Malkovich keeps moving. Storm controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Storm postures up.
Malkovich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Storm is one step ahead there. Storm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malkovich is striking from the bottom but Storm uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Malkovich wants to improve his position but Storm is controlling well.
Malkovich gets full guard. Malkovich controls Storm momentarily but Storm frees himself. Malkovich wants to sweep but no luck. Storm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Malkovich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Storm tries to free his leg and advance position but Malkovich is retaining full guard. Malkovich is looking for a triangle but Storm pushes his legs off easily.
Storm stands up from Malkovich's guard - Storm perhaps looking for a knockout. Storm scores with a leg kick.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Storm drives through with a takedown into Malkovich's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Malkovich not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sand Storm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Storm throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Storm rushes Malkovich and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Storm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Storm looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Malkovich is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Malkovich shoots in and gets a takedown into Storm's guard. Malkovich stays in close to Storm's body and controls the position. Malkovich passes into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm taking some punishment here, with Malkovich in his half guard. Malkovich lands strikes from half guard. Malkovich wants to work for an arm triangle but Storm is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malkovich winds up and cracks Storm with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Malkovich is trying for a kimura here. Storm looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Malkovich wins by kimura!
