The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metharom goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Belmond looks to land a right hand but Metharom moved out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Metharom on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Somporn Metharom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Metharom comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Belmond counters with a nice kick to the body.
Belmond fails in his attempt to clinch.

Belmond displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Metharom throws out the jab.
Belmond ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Metharom connects with a single shot there.

Belmond is rocked!
Metharom stuns Belmond with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Belmond is still on wobbly legs! Can Metharom finish him?
A clash of legs there as Metharom blocks the low kick.
Metharom looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Metharom keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Metharom is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
BOOM! Metharom lands a beautiful left hook that drops Belmond. Belmond tries to recover but Metharom is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Belmond lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
