Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayha throws a hook to the side of Flacide's head but Flacide sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Flacide wants to clinch but Hayha slips to the side
and Hayha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Flacide tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hayha paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hayha pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Flacide darts in looking for a takedown but Hayha gets double underhooks and turns Flacide into the cage.
Hayha swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

It looks like Helio Flacide has been cut.
Hayha throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flacide sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hayha scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Flacide tries to clinch but Hayha moves out of range.
Flacide is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Hayha throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Flacide's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hayha connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Flacide scrambles back to his feet.

Flacide shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hayha sprawls well. Hayha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flacide gets slowly back to his feet.

Hayha gets tackled into the cage by Flacide. Flacide maintains the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hayha.
Flacide pushes off an throws an elbow but Hayha leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Flacide tries to pull guard but Hayha holds him up against the cage and eventually Flacide drops back down to his feet.
Simo Hayha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helio Flacide.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hayha misses with a punch to the body.

Hayha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hayha feints a jab promting Flacide to slip. Hayha then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Flacide slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hayha presses Flacide against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hayha breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hayha feints with a jab and clips Flacide right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Flacide is sent crashing into the canvas and Hayha leaps in for the kill! Flacide tries to get to his feet but Hayha is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Flacide is in need of a savior and steps in!
