Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Helio Coptor (ranked 5362 p4p, 4706 weight class) and Dikembe Kambemba (ranked 501 p4p, 473 weight class). Kambemba comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nants' Ingonyama kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dikembe Kambemba!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Coptor. Beautiful body shot.
Kambemba tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Coptor lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Coptor seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Coptor fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kambemba is out of range.
Coptor bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kambemba's head backwards.
It looks like Dikembe Kambemba has been cut.
Coptor avoids a kick to the body.
Coptor moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Kambemba avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Coptor.
Coptor lands with an overhand left.
Coptor with a nice calf kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Coptor lands a nice shot to the body.
Kambemba looks winded!
A chopping leg kick lands by Coptor.
Helio Coptor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coptor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kambemba manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Coptor connects with a right hand. Kambemba shakes it off.
Coptor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kambemba's head.
Kambemba tries to clinch up
and Coptor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Coptor lands a right hook to the body.
Coptor lands a front kick to the face, that drops Kambemba to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kambemba takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Coptor cracks Kambemba with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Kambemba is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Kambemba is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Kambemba could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Helio Coptor!
