Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Watts (ranked 3160 p4p, 3488 weight class) and Boyd Crowder (ranked 398 p4p, 430 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowder moves into range and clinches up with Watts.
Crowder lands a nice shot to the body.
Crowder goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Crowder tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Crowder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Watts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Watts throws a head punch that misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watts lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Crowder goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Crowder is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Watts gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Crowder tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Watts's elbow.
Crowder has Watts pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Crowder pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Watts tumbling to the mat - Crowder dives into Watts's guard.

Crowder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Watts is now in Crowder's guard. A big mistake from Crowder there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Watts got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crowder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Watts has managed to get both his arms back between Crowder's legs - danger averted.

Watts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Watts's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Watts is on top in guard.

Crowder is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Watts's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Watts's back!
Crowder is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Watts knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Watts for a finish.
