PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itachi Kowashaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalevi Perse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itachi Kowashaki looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowashaki stuffs the takedown. Kalevi Perse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kowashaki looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Perse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Perse is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kowashaki doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Perse. Kowashaki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Perse in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kowashaki tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Perse!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kalevi Perse!
