Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Lahey (ranked 2690 p4p, 3877 weight class) and Richard Glass (ranked 378 p4p, 491 weight class). Jim Lahey had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Lahey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Glass! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lahey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Lahey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Glass moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Lahey. Lahey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lahey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Glass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Sloppy strikes from Lahey. Those never looked like landing. Glass looks like he wants to counter punch here. Lahey cracks Glass with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lahey has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Glass to stand back up!
Glass is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lahey scores with a body shot.
Glass is still on wobbly legs! Can Lahey finish him? Lahey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lahey lands a slapping body shot.
Glass looks winded! Glass is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Lahey doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Glass crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Glass's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jim Lahey! An out of breath Jim Lahey thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
