Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrei Stoic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luis Noriega!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noriega looks to land a combination but Stoic avoids it well.

Stoic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Noriega misses with a punch on the inside.
Noriega is trying to break free.
Stoic is stalling here.

Stoic gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Stoic is working for a submission of some sort.
Stoic passes to side control.
Noriega is looking to reverse the position.

Stoic tries for a kimura but Noriega is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stoic misses with the ground and pound.
Stoic in side control, throwing shots but Noriega defends.
Stoic is looking to take a break and control but Noriega is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Noriega struggling a bit here.

Stoic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Noriega knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Noriega tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stoic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Noriega wants to get back to his feet but Stoic is dominant here and he's now got Noriega's back!
The referee is taking a good look at Noriega as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Stoic!
Noriega is trying to get back to his feet but Stoic has full control of the position and if anything, Noriega has just worked his way into a worse spot.
I really don't envy Noriega right now.
Stoic lands shots from the back.
Can Noriega hold on?! Stoic is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stoic just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

What can Noriega do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stoic is looking to control Noriega but Noriega is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Noriega rolls, trying to escape but Stoic keeps control of the position.

Noriega is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Noriega is trying to roll into a better position but Stoic has get a rear naked choke and Noriega is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Andrei Stoic!
In his post fight interview, Andrei Stoic started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
